أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا هُشَيْمٌ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا الْمُغِيرَةُ وَذَكَرَ آخَرُ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنْ وَرَّادٍ كَاتِبِ الْمُغِيرَةِ أَنَّ مُعَاوِيَةَ كَتَبَ إِلَى الْمُغِيرَةِ

أنِ اكْتُبْ إِلَيَّ بِحَدِيثٍ سَمِعْتَهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَكَتَبَ إِلَيْهِ الْمُغِيرَةُ إِنِّي سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ عِنْدَ انْصِرَافِهِ مِنَ الصَّلَاةِ «لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ» ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ خَالَفَهُ أَبُو عَوَانَةَ الْوَضَّاحُ رَوَاهُ عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ عَنْ شِبَاكٍ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ وَرَّادًا

✧ "Write to me a hadith you heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ." So al-Mughirah wrote to him: "I heard him say when he finished the prayer: 'There is no god but Allah, alone without partner. To Him belongs the dominion and to Him belongs all praise, and He is capable of all things' three times." Abu 'Awanah al-Waddah differed from him: he narrated it from Mughirah, from Shibak, from al-Sha'bi, from al-Mughirah, and did not mention Warrad.
