✧ "There is no god but Allah alone, with no partner. To Him belongs the dominion, and to Him belongs all praise, and He is able to do all things. It was as fair as four necks. I asked him, 'Who told you?' He said, 'Amr ibn Maymun.' So, I met Amr ibn Maymun and asked him, 'Who told you?' He said, 'Abdul Rahman ibn Abi Layla.' So, I met Abdul Rahman ibn Abi Layla and asked him, 'Who told you?' He said, 'Abu Ayub, the companion of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He was contradicted by Hilal ibn Yasaaf, who narrated it from Rabee'ah ibn Khuthaym, who narrated it from Ibn Mas'ood.'"
