أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الضَّحَّاكُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي سَعِيدٌ الْمَقْبُرِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا دَخَلَ أَحَدُكُمُ الْمَسْجِدَ فَلْيُسَلِّمْ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَلْيَقُلْ اللهُمَّ افْتَحْ لِي أَبْوَابَ رَحْمَتِكَ وَإِذَا خَرَجَ فَلْيُسَلِّمْ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَلْيَقُلْ اللهُمَّ بَاعِدْنِي مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ خَالَفَهُ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَجْلَانَ رَوَاهُ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ كَعْبٍ قَوْلَهُ

Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'When one of you enters the mosque, let him send peace upon the Prophet ﷺ and say: O Allah, open for me the gates of Your mercy. And when he exits, let him send peace upon the Prophet ﷺ and say: O Allah, keep me away from Satan.' Muhammad b. 'Ajlan differed from him; he narrated it from Sa'id al-Maqburi, from Abu Hurayrah, from Ka'b as his statement.
