أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ وَهُوَ ابْنُ زُرَيْعٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ الشَّيْبَانِيِّ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَرْقَمَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إنَّ هَذِهِ الْحُشُوشَ مُحْتَضَرَةٌ فَإِذَا دَخَلَ أَحَدُكُمُ الْخَلَاءَ فَلْيَقُلْ أَعُوذُ بِاللهِ مِنَ الْخُبُثِ وَالْخَبَائِثِ

Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'These latrines are attended by devils. So when one of you enters the privy, let him say: I seek refuge in Allah from the male and female devils.'
