أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ وَابْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنِ النَّضْرِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَرْقَمَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إنَّ هَذِهِ الْحُشُوشَ مُحْتَضَرَةٌ فَإِذَا دَخَلَ أَحَدُكُمُ الْخَلَاءَ فَلْيَقُلْ أَعُوذُ بِاللهِ مِنَ الْخُبُثِ وَالْخَبَائِثِ

Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “These latrines are attended by devils, so when one of you enters the privy, let him say: ‘I seek refuge in Allah from the male and female devils.’”
