✧ The reward of prayer upon the Prophet ﷺ.

أَخْبَرَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ نَصْرِ بْنِ سُوَيْدٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ مَوْلَى الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ جَاءَ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ وَالْبِشْرُ فِي وَجْهِهِ فَقَالَ إِنَّهُ جَاءَنِي جِبْرِيلُ فَقَالَ أَمَا يُرْضِيكَ يَا مُحَمَّدُ أَنَّهُ لَا يُصَلِّي عَلَيْكَ أَحَدٌ مِنْ أُمَّتِكَ صَلَاةً إِلَّا صَلَّيْتُ عَلَيْهِ عَشْرًا وَلَا يُسَلِّمُ عَلَيْكَ أَحَدٌ مِنَ أُمَّتِكَ إِلَّا سَلَّمْتُ عَلَيْهِ عَشْرًا

Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came one day with glad tidings on his face and said, “Jibril came to me and said, ‘Does it not please you, O Muhammad, that no one from your Ummah sends blessings upon you except that I send blessings upon him tenfold, and no one from your Ummah greets you with peace except that I greet him with peace tenfold?’”
