✧ The strictness in leaving the prayer on the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ

أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ سُوَيْدِ بْنِ مَنْجُوفٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «مَا جَلَسَ قَوْمٌ مَجْلِسًا فَتَفَرَّقُوا عَنْ غَيْرِ صَلَاةٍ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ إِلَّا تَفَرَّقُوا عَلَى أَنْتَنِ مِنْ رِيحِ الْجِيفَةِ»

Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “No people sit in a gathering and then depart without sending blessings upon the Prophet ﷺ except that they depart with a stench worse than the smell of a carcass.”
