أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَتْنِي دَقْرَةُ أُمُّ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أُذَيْنَةَ قَالَتْ

كُنَّا نَطُوفُ مَعَ أُمِّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ عَائِشَةَ فَرَأَتْ عَلَى امْرَأَةٍ بُرْدًا فِيهِ تَصْلِيبٌ فَقَالَتْ اطْرَحِيهِ فَإِنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ إِذَا رَأَى نَحْوَ هَذَا قَضَبَهُ

Translation

✧ We were performing tawaf with the Mother of the Believers, Aishah, and she saw on a woman a burdah that had a cross on it, so she said, 'Throw it down, for the Prophet ﷺ, when he saw the like of this, would cut it.'
