✧ He said, “I said, ‘I will certainly look at the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and how he prays.’ I looked at him, and he stood and said the takbir and raised his hands until they were level with his ears, then he placed his right hand on his left palm, wrist, and forearm. Then when he wanted to bow he raised his hands similarly,” he said, “and placed his hands on his knees. Then when he raised his head he raised his hands similarly, then he prostrated and placed his palms level with his ears. Then he sat and spread his left leg and placed his left palm on his thigh and left knee, and placed the edge of his right elbow on his right thigh, then he closed two of his fingers and made a circle, then raised his finger, and I saw him moving it, supplicating with it.”
