أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا جَبَلَةُ بْنُ سُحَيْمٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ جَرَّ ثَوْبًا مِنْ ثِيَابِهِ خُيَلَاءَ أَوْ مَخِيلَةً لَمْ يَنْظُرِ اللهُ إِلَيْهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ» قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بِشْرُ بْنُ الْمُفَضَّلِ جَمَعَ بَيْنَ حَدِيثِ مُسْلِمٍ وَجَبَلَةَ

Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever drags a garment of his clothing out of pride or arrogance, Allah will not look at him on the Day of Resurrection." Abu Abd al-Rahman said: Bishr b. al-Mufaddal combined the hadith of Muslim and Jabalah.
