أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ يَنَّاقٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ جَرَّ إِزَارَهُ لَا يُرِيدُ بِذَلِكَ إِلَّا الْمَخِيلَةَ لَمْ يَنْظُرِ اللهُ إِلَيْهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ»

Translation

✧ I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: "Whoever drags his lower garment, intending by that only pride, Allah will not look at him on the Day of Resurrection."
