أَخْبَرَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سِمَاكٍ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ أَبَا صَفْوَانَ يَقُولُ «بِعْتُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ رِجْلًا مِنْ سَرَاوِيلَ قَبْلَ الْهِجْرَةِ بِثَلَاثَةِ دَرَاهِمَ فَوَزَنَ لِي فَأَرْجَحَ لِي»

Translation

✧ I heard Abu Safwan say: “I sold the Messenger of Allah ﷺ a length of trousers before the Hijrah for three dirhams, and he weighed for me and gave me more.”
