أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ شُعَيْبِ بْنِ اللَّيْثِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي هِلَالٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّهَا أَخْبَرَتْهُ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يُرْسِلُ ثِيَابَهُ قَمِيصَهُ وَرِدَاءَهُ وَإِزَارَهُ إِلَى بَعْضِ أَهْلِهِ فَأَحَبُّهُمْ إِلَيْهِ الَّذِي يُشْبِعُهَا بِزَعْفَرَانٍ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to send his clothes—his shirt, his cloak, and his waist-wrapper—to one of his family members. The one most beloved to him was the one who saturated them with saffron.
