✧ Prohibition of wearing yellow garments

أَخْبَرَنِي حَاجِبُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الْمَنْبِجِيُّ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي رَوَّادٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ عَنِ ابْنِ طَاوُسٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو

أَنَّهُ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ وَعَلَيْهِ ثَوْبَانِ مُعَصْفَرَانِ فَغَضِبَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ وَقَالَ «اذْهَبْ فَاطْرَحْهُمَا عَنْكَ» قَالَ أَيْنَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ قَالَ «فِي النَّارِ»

✧ He came to the Prophet ﷺ wearing two dyed yellow garments, and the Prophet ﷺ became angry and said: “Go and throw them off.” He said: Where, O Messenger of Allah? He said: “In the fire.”
