أَخْبَرَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شَبَابَةُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ دَاوُدَ السِّرَّاجِ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ

«مَنْ لَبِسَ الْحَرِيرَ فِي الدُّنْيَا لَمْ يَلْبَسْهُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ» قَالَ شُعْبَةُ قَالَ هِشَامٌ إِنَّ قَتَادَةَ رَفَعَ ذَا إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ [407] 9537 أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي بُكَيْرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ دَاوُدَ السَّرَّاجِ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ قَوْلَهُ قَالَ شُعْبَةُ وَأَخْبَرَنِي هِشَامٌ وَكَانَ أَصْحَبَ لَهُ مِنِّي إِنَّهُ كَانَ يَرْفَعُهُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ

✧ “Whoever wears silk in this world will not wear it in the Hereafter.” Shu'bah said: Hisham said that Qatadah raised this to the Prophet ﷺ. [407] 9537 Sa'id b. al-Faraj al-Naysaburi informed us, he said: Yahya b. Abi Bukayr narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us from Qatadah from Dawud al-Sarraj from Abu Sa'id as his statement. Shu'bah said: And Hisham informed me, and he was more a companion of his than I, that he used to raise it to the Prophet ﷺ.
