أَخْبَرَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ حَمَّادٍ عَنِ اللَّيْثِ عَنْ يَزِيدَ أَنَّ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ حُنَيْنٍ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ أَبَاهُ حَدَّثَهُ

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَلِيًّا يَقُولُ «نَهَانِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ خَاتَمِ الذَّهَبِ وَعَنْ لُبُوسِ الْقَسِّيِّ وَالْمُعَصْفَرِ وَقِرَاءَةِ الْقُرْآنِ وَأَنَا رَاكِعٌ» وَافَقَهُ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو

Translation

✧ That he heard Ali say: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade me from gold rings, from wearing qassi and saffron-dyed garments, and from reciting the Quran while I am bowing." Muhammad b. Amr agreed with him.
