أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مَنْصُورًا يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ رِبْعِيٍّ عَنِ امْرَأَتِهِ عَنْ أُخْتِ حُذَيْفَةَ قَالَتْ
خَطَبَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ يَا مَعْشَرَ النِّسَاءِ «أَلَيْسَ لَكُنَّ فِي الْفِضَّةِ مَا تَحَلَّيْنَ؟ إِنَّهُ لَيْسَ مِنْكُنَّ مِنَ امْرَأَةٍ تَحَلَّتْ ذَهَبًا تُظْهِرُهُ إِلَّا عُذِّبَتْ بِهِ» أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبِدِ الأَعْلَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مَنْصُورًا يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ رَبْعِيِّ عَنِ امْرَأَتِهِ عَنْ أُخْتِ حُذَيْفَةَ قَالَتْ خَطَبَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ يَا مَعْشَرَ النِّسَاءِ أَلَيْسَ لَكُنَّ فِي الْفِضَّةِ مَا تَحَلَّيْنَ إِنَّهُ لَيْسَ مِنْكُنَّ امْرَأَةٌ تُحَلَّى ذَهَبًا تُظْهِرُهُ إِلاَّ عُذِّبَتْ بِهِ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ addressed us, the women, and said: "Do you not have in silver what you adorn yourselves with? Indeed, among you is not a woman who adorns herself with gold and shows it except that she will be punished by it." Muhammad ibn Abd al-A'la narrated to us, he said: Al-Mu'tamir informed us, he said: I heard Mansur narrating from Rabi'ah from his wife from the sister of Hudhayfah, she said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) addressed us, the women, and said: "Do you not have in silver what you adorn yourselves with? Indeed, among you is not a woman who adorns herself with gold and shows it except that she will be punished by it."
