أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَعْمَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ بِشْرٍ عَنْ أَشْعَثَ بْنِ أَبِي الشَّعْثَاءِ عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُحِبُّ التَّيَمُّنَ يَأْخُذُ بِيَمِينِهِ وَيُعْطِي بِيَمِينِهِ وَيُحِبُّ التَّيَمُّنَ فِي جَمِيعِ أَمْرِهِ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ «وَالَّذِي قَبْلَهُ أَوْلَى بِالصَّوَابِ»

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ used to love starting on the right; he would take with his right hand and give with his right hand, and he loved starting on the right in all his affairs. Abu Abd al-Rahman said: “The one before it is more likely to be correct.”
