أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ خَشْرَمٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عِيسَى عَنِ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ عَنْ حَسَّانَ بْنِ عَطِيَّةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ

أَتَانَا النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فَرَأَى رَجُلًا ثَائِرَ الشَّعْرِ فَقَالَ «أَمَا يَجِدُ هَذَا مَا يُسَكِّنُ بِهِ شَعْرَهُ؟» خَالَفَهُ يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ رَوَاهُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ عَنْ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ مُرْسَلًا

Translation

✧ The Prophet ﷺ came to us and saw a man with disheveled hair, and he said, “Does this man not find something with which to calm his hair?” Yahya b. Sa'id differed from him; he narrated it from Muhammad b. al-Munkadir from Abu Qatadah as mursal.
