أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عِيسَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي فُدَيْكٍ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ قُنْفُذٍ عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنْ كَانَ فِي شَيْءٍ فَفِي الْمَسْكَنِ وَالْمَرْأَةِ وَالْفَرَسِ وَالسَّيْفِ» خَالَفَهُ شُعَيْبُ بْنُ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ وَمَعْمَرٌ وَسُفْيَانُ

✧ that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “If there is ill omen in anything, it is in the dwelling, the woman, the horse, and the sword.” Shuʿayb b. Abī Ḥamzah, Maʿmar, and Sufyān disagreed with him.
