أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ الْخَطْمِيُّ عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ خُزَيْمَةَ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ قَالَ كُنَّا مَعَ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ فِي حَجٍّ أَوْ عَمْرَةٍ فَلَمَّا كُنَّا بِمَرِّ الظَّهْرَانِ إِذَا نَحْنُ بِامْرَأَةٍ فِي هَوْدَجِهَا وَاضِعَةً يَدَهَا عَلَى هَوْدَجِهَا فَلَمَّا نَزَلَ دَخَلَ الشِّعْبَ وَدَخَلْنَا مَعَهُ فَقَالَ

كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فِي هَذَا الْمَكَانِ فَإِذَا نَحْنُ بِغِرْبَانٍ كَثِيرٍ فِيهَا غُرَابٌ أَعْصَمُ أَحْمَرُ الْمِنْقَارِ وَالرِّجْلَيْنِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَا يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ مِنَ النِّسَاءِ إِلَّا كَقَدْرِ هَذَا الْغُرَابِ مَعَ هَذِهِ الْغِرْبَانِ»

✧ We were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in this place, and suddenly we saw many crows, among them a crow with white patches on its wings, red-beaked and red-legged. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “None of the women will enter Paradise except as many as the proportion of this crow among these crows.”
