✧ The gratitude of a woman towards her husband

أَخْبَرَنِي هِلَالُ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَلَفٌ وَهُوَ ابْنُ خَلِيفَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هَاشِمٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «أَلَا أُخْبِرُكُمْ بِنِسَائِكُمْ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ الْوَدُودُ الْوَلُودُ الْعَؤُودُ عَلَى زَوْجِهَا الَّتِي إِذَا آذَتْ أَوْ أُوذِيَتْ جَاءَتْ حَتَّى تَأْخُذَ بَيْدَ زَوْجِهَا ثُمَّ تَقُولُ وَاللهِ لَا أَذُوقُ غُمْضًا حَتَّى تَرْضَى»

Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Shall I not tell you about the women of Paradise among you? The loving, the prolific, the devoted to her husband—who, when she is hurt or wronged, comes and takes her husband’s hand, then says: ‘By Allah, I will not taste sleep until you are pleased.’”
