أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ خُصَيْفٍ عَنْ مِقْسَمٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فِي رَجُلٍ وَقَعَ عَلَى امْرَأَتِهِ وَهِيَ حَائِضٌ فَأَمَرَهُ أَنْ يَتَصَدَّقَ بِنِصْفِ دِينَارٍ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ «هَذَا خَطَأٌ وَشَرِيكٌ لَيْسَ بِالْحَافِظِ يَعْنِي حَدِيثَ سَهْلِ بْنِ صَالِحٍ»

Translation

✧ From the Prophet ﷺ concerning a man who had intercourse with his wife while she was menstruating: he ordered him to give half a dinar in charity. Abu Abd al-Rahman said: “This is a mistake, and Sharik is not a reliable memorizer, meaning the hadith of Sahl b. Salih.”
