أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ ثَوْبَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو رِفَاعَةَ أَنَّ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيَّ قَالَ

جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ إِنَّ لِي وَلِيدَةً وَأنا أَعْزِلُ عَنْهَا وَأَنَا أُرِيدُ مِنْهَا مَا يُرِيدُ الرَّجُلُ وَإِنَّ الْيَهُودَ زَعَمُوا أَنَّ الْمَوْءُودَةَ الصُّغْرَى الْعَزْلُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «كَذَبَتْ يَهُودُ لَوْ أَرَادَ اللهُ أَنْ يَخْلُقَهُ لَمْ تَسْتَطِعْ أَنْ تَصْرِفَهُ» 9032 أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيٌّ عَنْ يَحْيَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ ثَوْبَانَ أَنَّ أَبَا مُطِيعِ بْنَ عَوْفٍ أَحَدُ بَنِي رِفَاعَةَ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ أَخْبَرَهُ نَحْوَهُ [223] 9033 أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِي مُطِيعِ بْنِ رِفَاعَةَ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثِ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عُمَرَ

✧ A man came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "I have a young wife and I am not interested in her, but I want from her what a man wants. The Jews claim that a small divorced girl cannot be divorced again." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The Jews have lied. If Allah wanted to create her, she would not have the ability to prevent it." Muhammad ibn Al-Muthanna informed us, he said, Uthman ibn Umar informed us, he said, Ali narrated to us, from Yahya, from Muhammad ibn Abdul Rahman, from Abu Muti' ibn Rifa'ah, that Abu Sa'eed Al-Khudri narrated to him from the Prophet ﷺ with a similar narration to the narration of Uthman ibn Umar.
