أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ سَالِمٍ عَنْ كُرَيْبٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ يَبْلُغُ بِهِ

النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ لَوْ أَنَّ أَحَدَهُمْ قَالَ حِينَ يُوَاقِعُ أَهْلَهُ «بِسْمِ اللهِ اللهُمَّ جَنَّبَنِي الشَّيْطَانَ وَجَنِّبِ الشَّيْطَانَ مَا رَزَقْتَنَا فَقُضِيَ بَيْنَهُمَا وَلَدٌ لَمْ يَضُرَّهُ الشَّيْطَانُ» خَالَفَهُ ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ

Translation

✧ The Prophet ﷺ said, “If one of them says when he has intercourse with his wife: ‘In the name of Allah, O Allah, keep Satan away from me and keep Satan away from what You provide for us,’ and a child is decreed between them, Satan will not harm him.” Ibn Abi Umar contradicted him.
