✧ The obedience of a woman to her husband.

أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبُ بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي شُعَيْبٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي يَحْيَى أَنَّ بُشَيْرَ بْنَ يَسَارٍ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ مِحْصَنٍ أَخْبَرَهُ عَنْ عَمَّةٍ لَهُ

أَنَّهَا دَخَلَتْ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَامَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لِبَعْضِ الْحَاجَةِ فَقَضَى حَاجَتَهَا فَقَالَ لَهَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «أَذَاتُ زَوْجٍ أَنْتِ؟» قَالَتْ نَعَمْ قَالَ «كَيْفَ أَنْتِ لَهُ؟» قَالَتْ مَا آلُوهُ إِلَّا مَا عَجَزْتُ عَنْهُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «انْظُرِي أَيْنَ أَنْتِ مِنْهُ فَإِنَّهُ جَنَّتُكِ وَنَارُكِ»

✧ She entered upon the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood up for a need, and he fulfilled her need. So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to her, "Are you a wife?" She said, "Yes." He said, "How are you towards him?" She said, "I only do what I am unable to do." So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Look at where you are from him. For indeed, he is your Paradise and your Hellfire."
