أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ الْمُقْرِئُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ نَوْفَلِ بْنِ مُسَاحِقٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عِصَامٍ الْمُزَنِيَّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا بَعَثَ سَرِيَّةً قَالَ «إِنْ رَأَيْتُمْ مَسْجِدًا أَوْ سَمِعْتُمْ مُؤَذِّنًا فَلَا تَقْتُلُوا أَحَدًا»

Translation

  4. Ibn ʿIṣām al-Muzanī from his father

✧ When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent out a detachment, he said: "If you see a mosque or hear a mu'adhdhin, do not kill anyone."
