أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ وَبِشْرُ بْنُ هِلَالٍ وَاللَّفْظُ لَهُ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى الْأَشْعَرِيِّ قَالَ

أَخَذَ النَّاسُ فِي عُقْبَةٍ أَوْ ثَنِيَّةٍ فَكُلَّمَا عَلَا عَلَيْهَا رَجُلٌ نَادَى بِأَعْلَى صَوْتِهِ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَاللهُ أَكْبَرُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِنَّكُمْ لَا تَدْعُونَ أَصَمَّ وَلَا غَائِبًا» ثُمَّ قَالَ يَا أَبَا مُوسَى «أَلَا أَدُلُّكَ عَلَى كَنْزٍ مِنْ كُنُوزِ الْجَنَّةِ» قُلْتُ بَلَى قَالَ تَقُولُ «لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللهِ»

✧ The people took to a steep pass or a mountain road, and whenever a man ascended it, he called out at the top of his voice, "There is no god but Allah, and Allah is greatest." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, you are not calling upon one who is deaf or absent." Then he said, "O Abu Musa, shall I not guide you to a treasure from the treasures of Paradise?" I said, "Yes." He said, "Say: There is no might and no power except with Allah."
