✧ The Curse of Camels

أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ
بَيْنَمَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي أُنَاسٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِهِ إِذْ لَعَنَ رَجُلٌ مِنْهُمْ بَعِيرَهُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنِ اللَّاعِنُ بَعِيرَهُ؟» فَقَالَ الرَّجُلُ أَنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ قَالَ «فَأَخِّرْهُ عَنَّا فَقَدْ أَوْجَبَتْ»

✧ While the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was among some of his companions, a man among them cursed his camel. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Who is the one cursing his camel?' The man said: I am, O Messenger of Allah. He said: 'Take it away from us, for it has been answered.'
