أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ دِينَارٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ يَقُولُ

قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «إِنَّ الْغَادِرَ يُنْصَبُ لَهُ لِوَاءٌ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ» فَيُقَالُ «هَذِهِ غَدْرَةُ فُلَانٍ»

Translation

Chain of narrators
  1. ʿAlī b. Ḥujr
  2. Ismāʿīl
  3. ʿAbdullāh b. Dīnār
  4. ʿAbdullāh b. ʿUmar

✧ The Prophet ﷺ said: "Indeed, the traitor will have a banner set up for him on the Day of Resurrection," and it will be said: "This is the treachery of so-and-so."
