أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الزَّعْفَرَانِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ قَالَ ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي يَعْلَى بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ
عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ {يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَطِيعُوا اللهَ وَأَطِيعُوا الرَّسُولَ وَأُولِي الْأَمْرَ مِنْكُمْ} [النساء 59] نَزَلَتْ فِي عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ حُذَافَةَ بْنِ قَيْسِ بْنِ عَدِيٍّ إِذْ بَعَثَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي السَّرِيَّةِ

✧ From Ibn Abbas: "O you who believe! Obey Allah and obey the Messenger and those in authority among you" [Quran 4:59] was revealed regarding Abdullah b. Hudhafah b. Qays b. Adiyy when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent him on an expedition.
