أَخْبَرَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَرْوَانُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ زَبْرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي بُسْرُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ عَنْ أَبِي إِدْرِيسَ الْخَوْلَانِيِّ عَنْ حَسَّانَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ الضَّمْرِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ السَّعْدِيِّ قَالَ

«وَفَدْنَا عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَدَخَلَ عَلَيْهِ أَصْحَابِي فَقَضَى حَاجَتَهُمْ ثُمَّ كُنْتُ آخِرَهُمْ دُخُولًا عَلَيْهِ» فَقَالَ «حَاجَتُكَ؟» فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ مَتَى تَنْقَطِعُ الْهِجْرَةُ؟ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَا تَنْقَطِعُ الْهِجْرَةُ مَا قُوتِلَ الْكُفَّارُ» قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ حَسَّانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الضَّمْرِيُّ «لَيْسَ بِالْمَشْهُورِ»

✧ We came as a delegation to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. My companions entered upon him and he fulfilled their needs. Then I was the last of them to enter upon him. He said: "Your need?" I said: O Messenger of Allah, when will migration cease? The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Migration will not cease as long as the disbelievers are fought." Abu Abd al-Rahman said: Hassan b. Abdullah al-Damri is not well-known.
