✧ Performing Wudu Twice or Thrice

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ الَّذِي أُرِيَ النِّدَاءَ قَالَ

رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ «تَوَضَّأَ فَغَسَلَ وَجْهَهَ ثَلَاثًا وَيَدَيْهِ مَرَّتَيْنِ مَرَّتَيْنِ وَغَسَلَ رِجْلَيْهِ مَرَّتَيْنِ وَمَسَحَ بِرَأْسِهِ مَرَّتَيْنِ»

Translation

✧ I saw the Prophet ﷺ perform ablution: he washed his face three times, his hands twice each, washed his feet twice, and wiped his head twice.
