أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَزْهَرُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ الْمَكِّيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُثَنَّى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا غَزَا قَالَ «اللهُمَّ أَنْتَ عَضُدِي وَنَصِيرِي وَبِكَ أُقَاتِلُ»

Translation

  2. Azhar b. al-Qāsim al-Makkī
  3. al-Muthanná b. Saʿīd
  4. Qatādah
  5. Anas b. Mālik

✧ When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ went on an expedition, he would say, "O Allah, You are my support and my helper, and by You I fight."
