أَخْبَرَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ عَطِيَّةَ الْقُرَظِيَّ يَقُولُ عَرَضْنَا عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ يَوْمَ قُرَيْظَةَ فَكَانَ مَنْ أَنْبَتَ قُتِلَ وَمَنْ لَمْ يُنْبِتْ خُلِّيَ سَبِيلُهُ فَكُنْتُ فِيمَنْ لَمْ يُنْبِتْ فَخُلِّيَ سَبِيلِي

Translation

✧ I heard 'Atiyyah al-Qurazi say: We were presented to the Prophet ﷺ on the day of Qurayzah. Whoever had grown pubic hair was killed, and whoever had not was let go. I was among those who had not grown pubic hair, so I was let go.
