أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ «رَجُلٌ مِنْ بَنِي قُرَيْظَةَ

أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ أَصْحَابَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ يَوْمَ قُرَيْظَةَ جَرَّدُوهُ فَلَمَّا لَمْ يَرَوِا الْمُوسَى جَرَتْ عَلَى شَعْرِهِ يُرِيدُ عَانَتَهُ تَرَكُوهُ مِنَ الْقَتْلِ»

Translation

✧ He informed him that on the day of Qurayzah, the companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ examined him, and when they did not see the razor run over his hair - meaning his pubic hair - they left him from killing.
