✧ saying of the Prophet ﷺ "Ammaar will be killed by the rebellious group

أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ قَالَ

إِنِّي لَأُسَايِرُ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عَمْرٍو وَعَمْرَو بْنَ الْعَاصِ وَمُعَاوِيَةَ فَقَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «تَقْتُلُهُ الْفِئَةُ الْبَاغِيَةُ عَمَّارًا» فَقَالَ عَمْرٌو لِمُعَاوِيَةَ «أَتَسْمَعُ مَا يَقُولُ هَذَا؟ فَحَذَفَهُ» قَالَ «نَحْنُ قَتَلْنَاهُ؟ إِنَّمَا قَتَلَهُ مَنْ جَاءَ بِهِ لَا تَزَالُ دَاحِضًا فِي بَوْلِكَ»

✧ I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "The rebellious group will kill 'Ammaar." 'Amr said to Mu'awiyah, "Do you hear what he is saying?" So he (Mu'awiyah) pushed him away. He (Amr) said, "Did we kill him?" He said, "Whoever brings him will continue to wash his urine."
