أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ حَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ عَنْ حَمْزَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ سَعْدٍ قَالَ
خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي غَزْوَةِ تَبُوكَ وَخَلَّفَ عَلِيًّا فَقَالَ لَهُ أَتُخَلِّفُنِي؟ فَقَالَ لَهُ «أَمَا تَرْضَى أَنْ تَكُونَ مِنِّي بِمَنْزِلَةِ هَارُونَ مِنْ مُوسَى إِلَّا أَنَّهُ لَا نَبِيَّ بَعْدِي؟»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ went out in the expedition of Tabuk and left 'Ali behind. 'Ali said to him, "Are you leaving me behind?" He said to him, "Are you not content that you are to me in the position of Harun to Musa, except that there is no prophet after me?"
