أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ سَعْدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ سَعْدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَمِّي قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ بْنِ رُكَانَةَ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ سَعْدٍ

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ لِعَلِيٍّ حِينَ خَلَّفَهُ فِي غَزْوَةِ تَبُوكَ عَلَى أَهْلِهِ «أَلَا تَرْضَى أَنْ تَكُونَ مِنِّي بِمَنْزِلَةِ هَارُونَ مِنْ مُوسَى إِلَّا أَنَّهُ لَا نَبِيَّ بَعْدِي؟» قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ وَقَدْ رُوِيَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثُ عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ مِنْ غَيْرِ حَدِيثِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ

✧ That he heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say to 'Ali when he left him behind in the expedition of Tabuk over his family, "Are you not content that you are to me in the position of Harun to Musa, except that there is no prophet after me?" Abu 'Abd al-Rahman said: This hadith has been narrated from 'Amir b. Sa'd from his father other than through the hadith of Sa'id b. al-Musayyib.
