أَخْبَرَنِي زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحْيَى قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُصْعَبٍ عَنِ الدَّرَاوَرْدِيِّ عَنْ هَاشِمِ بْنِ هَاشِمٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ عَنْ سَعْدٍ قَالَ
لَمَّا خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِلَى تَبُوكَ خَرَجَ عَلِيٌّ يُشَيِّعُهُ فَبَكَى وَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَتَتْرُكُنِي مَعَ الْخَوَالِفِ؟ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَا عَلِيُّ «أَمَا تَرْضَى أَنْ تَكُونَ مِنِّي بِمَنْزِلَةِ هَارُونَ مِنْ مُوسَى إِلَّا النُّبُوَّةَ»

✧ When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ set out for Tabuk, 'Ali came out to see him off. He wept and said, "O Messenger of Allah, will you leave me with those who stay behind?" The Prophet ﷺ said, "O 'Ali, are you not pleased that you are to me as Harun was to Musa, except for prophethood?"
