أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَرْبُ بْنُ شَدَّادٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ أَنَّ أَبَا أُسَيْدٍ الْأَنْصَارِيَّ حَدَّثَهُ

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «خَيْرُ الْأَنْصَارِ أَوْ خَيْرُ دُورِ الْأَنْصَارِ بَنُو النَّجَّارِ ثُمَّ بَنُو عَبْدِ الْأَشْهَلِ ثُمَّ بَنُو الْحَارِثِ ثُمَّ بَنُو سَاعِدَةَ»

Translation

✧ He heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, “The best of the Ansar, or the best dwellings of the Ansar, are Banu al-Najjar, then Banu 'Abd al-Ashhal, then Banu al-Harith, then Banu Sa'idah.”
