✧ The Prophet's love for the Ansar

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ إِدْرِيسَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ عَنْ جَدِّهِ أَنَسٍ قَالَ

جَاءَتِ امْرَأَةٌ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ «وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ إِنَّكُمْ مِنْ أَحَبِّ النَّاسِ إِلَيَّ مَنْ أَحَبَّهُمْ فَبِي أَحَبَّهُمْ وَمَنْ أَبْغَضَهُمْ فَبِي أَبْغَضَهُمُ»

✧ A woman from the Ansar came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and he said, “By the One in whose hand is my soul, you are among the most beloved of people to me. Whoever loves them, it is because of me that he loves them, and whoever hates them, it is because of me that he hates them.”
