أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا قُرَّةُ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ قُرَّةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَاسْتَأْذَنَتْهُ أَنْ أُدْخِلَ يَدِي فَأَمِسَّ الْخَاتَمَ قَالَ «فَأَدْخَلْتُ يَدِي فِي جُرْبَانِهِ وَإِنَّهُ لَيَدْعُو فَمَا مَنَعَهُ وَأَنَا أَلْمَسَهُ أَنْ دَعَا لِي» قَالَ «فَوَجَدْتُ عَلَى نُغْضِ كَتِفِهِ مِثْلَ السِّلْعَةِ خَاتَمَ النُّبُوَّةِ»

✧ I came to the Prophet ﷺ and asked his permission to put my hand in and touch the seal. He said, 'So I put my hand into the opening of his garment while he was supplicating, and nothing prevented him from supplicating for me while I was touching it.' He said, 'I found on the cartilage of his shoulder something like a lump—the seal of prophethood.'
