أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أُمَيَّةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ قَالَ

رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ وَالْحَسَنُ عَلَى عَاتِقِهِ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ «اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أُحِبُّ هَذَا فَأَحِبَّهُ»

✧ I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ with al-Hasan on his shoulder, and he was saying: 'O Allah, I love this one, so love him.'
