أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ أَخْبَرَهُ عَلْقَمَةُ عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ قَرَأَ بِالْآيَتَيْنِ مِنْ آخِرِ سُورَةِ الْبَقَرَةِ فِي لَيْلَةٍ كَفَتَاهُ» قَالَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ فَلَقِيتُ أَبَا مَسْعُودٍ فِي الطَّوَافِ فَسَأَلْتُهُ فَحَدَّثَنِي بِهِ

Translation

✧ The Prophet ﷺ said: «Whoever recites the two verses from the end of Surah al-Baqarah in a night, they will suffice him.» Abd al-Rahman b. Yazid said: I met Abu Mas'ud while doing tawaf and asked him, and he narrated it to me.
