أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ عِيَاضٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ صَيْفِيٍّ عَنْ أَبِي الْيُسْرِ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَدْعُو فَيَقُولُ «اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْهَدْمِ وَالتَّرَدِّي وَالْهَرَمِ وَالْغَمِّ وَالْغَرِقِ وَالْحَرِيقِ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ أَنْ يَتَخَبَّطَنِي الشَّيْطَانُ عِنْدَ الْمَوْتِ وَأَنْ أُقْتَلَ فِي سَبِيلِكَ مُدْبِرًا وَأَنْ أَمُوتَ لَدِيغًا»

Translation

  3. ʿAbdullāh b. Saʿīd

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to supplicate, saying: "O Allah, I seek refuge in You from demolition, falling from a high place, old age, grief, drowning, and burning. I seek refuge in You from Satan confounding me at death and from being killed in Your path while retreating and from dying of a snake bite."
