أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يَقُولُ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لِأَبِي طَلْحَةَ «الْتَمِسْ لَنَا غُلَامًا مِنْ غِلْمَانِكُمْ يَخْدُمُنِي» فَخَرَجَ أَبُو طَلْحَةَ يُرْدِفُنِي وَرَاءَهُ وَكُنْتُ أَخْدُمُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كُلَّمَا نَزَلَ وَكُنْتُ أَسْمَعْهُ يُكْثِرُ أَنْ يَقُولَ «اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْهَمِّ وَالْحَزَنِ وَالْعَجْزِ وَالْكَسَلِ وَالْبُخْلِ وَالْجُبْنِ وَضَلَعِ الدَّيْنِ وَغَلَبَةِ الرِّجَالِ»
Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to Abu Talhah: “Find for us a boy from among your boys to serve me.” Abu Talhah went out, riding me behind him, and I used to serve the Messenger of Allah ﷺ whenever he stopped. I used to hear him frequently say: “O Allah, I seek refuge in You from worry, sorrow, incapacity, laziness, miserliness, cowardice, the burden of debt, and the domination of men.”
