✧ Seeking refuge from the dominance of the enemy

أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ السَّرْحِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ وَهْبٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي حُيَيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْحُبُلِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَدْعُو بِهَؤُلَاءِ الْكَلِمَاتِ «اللهُمَّ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ غَلَبَةِ الدَّيْنِ وَغَلَبَةِ الْعَدُوِّ وَشَمَاتَةِ الْأَعْدَاءِ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to supplicate with these words: “O Allah, I seek refuge with You from the domination of debt, the domination of the enemy, and the gloating of enemies.”
