✧ The virtue of attending the mosques

أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي الْأَسْوَدُ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ جَارِيَةَ الثَّقَفِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ وَهُوَ ابْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ حِينَ يَخْرُجُ الرَّجُلُ مِنْ بَيْتِهِ إِلَى مَسْجِدِي فَرِجْلٌ تَكْتُبُ حَسَنَةً وَرِجْلٌ تَمْحُو سَيِّئَةً

Translation

✧ From the Prophet ﷺ, he said: "When a man leaves his house to go to my mosque, one foot records a good deed and the other wipes away a sin."
