أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ

أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَقُولُ «اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْعَجْزِ وَالْكَسَلِ وَالْبُخْلِ وَالْهَرَمِ وَعَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ وَفِتْنَةِ الْمَحْيَا وَالْمَمَاتِ»

Translation

✧ The Prophet of Allah ﷺ used to say: "O Allah, I seek refuge in You from incapacity, laziness, miserliness, senility, the punishment of the grave, and the trial of life and death."
